I spent 22 years inside the kind of organizations most consultants only study from the outside. Public school districts. Elected boards. Unionized workforces. Communities that are paying attention to every decision you make and every dollar you spend.
My most recent role was Superintendent of Wawasee Community School Corporation in Northern Indiana. 2,500 students. Around 450 employees. A $32.8 million annual operating budget. More than $77 million in capital projects over my tenure. I led multiple initiatives resulting in measurable academic gains, rebuilt trust after a failed referendum, and launched numerous engagement efforts that brought residents inside the system to understand how it works.
That is the background I bring to this work. Not a certification in AI. Not a weekend course in automation. Fifteen years of leading real organizations through real change, combined with a deep understanding of what AI can and cannot do for the people who run them.
I started Willow Run Group because I kept seeing the same gap: leaders who know AI matters, but do not have a partner who understands both the technology and the weight of what they carry every day. WRG exists to fill that gap.
